DAB Motors Unveils Back to the Future DeLorean-Inspired Electric Motorbike - TechEBlog
NASA’s LMB v1 may one day be used on the Moon, but DAB Motors’ Back to the Future DeLorean-inspired electric motorbike can be driven on the roads here. It’s based on the company’s DAB 1α model, complete with an OUTTATIME license plate.
There’s also a faux flux capacitor as well as a speedometer that can hit 88 mph, but unfortunately, actual time travel is still out of the question. Powertrain wise, it boasts a repairable France-made 72V battery with a nominal capacity of 6.2 kWh and a maximum capacity of 7,1 kWh, giving it a maximum driving range of around 93.2 miles on a single charge. Pricing and availability have not yet been announced.
It’s about diving into the uncharted, pushing limits. The DAB 1α is not your convenient motorcycle; it’s a disruptor, a symbol of our generation’s refusal to settle for the ordinary,” said the company.
