Segway-Ninebot's new ZT3 Pro electric scooter can go off-road and handle all terrain - Tech Guide

Oct 25, 2024Oct 25, 2024

Segway-Ninebot has unveiled its new ZT3 series of electric scooters with the ZT3 Pro which brings Segway’s style and technology and combines it with all terrain performance so you can ride anywhere.

Segway-Ninebot, one of the leading micro mobility transportation providers, says the ZT3 Pro was designed to tackle city explorations as well as off road adventures.

Priced at $1,999 dollars, the ZT3 Pro with its off-road capabilities empowers riders knowing there is no obstacle between them and their destination.

“The ZT3 Pro represents a significant step forward in our commitment to innovation and user experience,” says Gino Casha, Head of Segway-Ninebot Australia.

“We believe this scooter will not only meet the demands of urban commuters but also cater to adventure enthusiasts looking for an eKickScooter that excels in all-terrains.”

The ZT3 Pro has a brand-new design built around a robust full suspension frame and a telescopic front fork and rear swing arm coil suspension which combine to take the bumps out of any rough terrain.

The scooter has 152mm of ground clearance an includes 11-inch all terrain tubeless tyres.

And it’s all powered by a 1,600W high torque brushless motor which can achieve speeds up to 25 kilometres an hour.

Segway’s range optimization technology also makes it possible to achieve 70km range on a single charge and up to 50km when in sport mode.

Safety and stability are key objectives for Segway-Ninebot, and they’ve shown that with the ZT3 Pro with the new Segride technology which provides a comfortable and safe ride even when travelling at high speeds.

The Segride stability enhancement system works in partnership with the traction control system (TCS) and enhances control and grip and virtually eliminates handlebar shake and wheel slip even when riding on slippery and wet surfaces.

ZT3 Pro has a 3-inch hexagonal LCD display which offers real time info like speed, charge, mode and more and is easily visible even in direct sunlight.

When riding at night the scooter has a full lighting system with a 4W front light, front and rear indicators and the signature X symbol daytime running light.

ZT3 Pro has an upgraded battery management system with three layers of protection along with flash charge technology which provides a full charge in just four hours.

Customers will receive a notification if the battery overheats before it automatically shuts down to ensure your safety.

The scooter also works with Apple’s Find My so users can track and locate it easily.
