At THE PACK Plaza, our goal is to inform consumers, businesses, and industry professionals about electric motorbikes and mopeds in order to increase awareness and usage.

Guy Salens: “We have created a unique pop-up space that can be found at various automotive events throughout the Benelux area (Belgium, Netherlands). Through negotiations with event organizers, we are able to offer affordable rates for startups and brands to showcase their products. We have deliberately chosen not to participate in motorcycle events, but instead focus on larger car shows that attract a high volume of visitors. Our first successful experience was at the Brussels Auto Show in January 2024, where there was great interest in our environmentally-friendly mode of transportation. In partnership with 402 Automotive, THE PACK proudly presented a live electric hub spanning 300 square meters, showcasing a range of light electric vehicle manufacturers and their innovative solutions for mobility.”

You may have heard the saying: “if you can’t beat them, join them.” While it may seem a bit extreme, the truth is that the electric two-wheeler industry is still a relatively new and underestimated market. Since 2017, our international platform, THE PACK, has been spreading awareness about this innovative form of e-mobility to a global audience online. And now, with THE PACK Plaza, we have the exciting opportunity to showcase real-life solutions to the public. Our focus is not only on existing motorcycle riders but also on potential clients who are tired of being stuck in traffic. Thanks to advancements in technology, riding these lightweight electric vehicles has become incredibly easy. In Belgium, you can even use your car license to legally ride an 11 kW motorbike (equivalent to a traditional 125cc bike) – making it accessible to even more people. Ronald van den Broek – 402 Automotive: “Starting in 2025, the location of the renowned Brussels Auto Show will shift to Flanders Expo in Ghent, now known as the Belgium Auto Show. This relocation allows for a whopping 70,000 square meters of space to create an unparalleled car exhibition experience. Exciting features include the highly anticipated return of the Car Catwalk, where hypercars and supercars will be on display, as well as a brand new outdoor Action Arena with rally car demonstrations, stunts, and drift shows. Attendees can also look forward to discovering the latest car models from local and regional distributors and browsing through various exhibits from the aftermarket, leasing, accessories and more. On top of that, THE PACK Plaza will showcase a various lineup of electric motorbikes and mopeds.”

With a resounding 90% expressing interest in attending the second edition, it’s clear that Ghent and its newly added Action Arena were highly favored choices. These factors played a significant role in our decision to continue hosting BAS in its new location. The passion for cars in Belgium remains strong, and we are thrilled to welcome back car enthusiasts to Ghent in 2025,” stated van den Broek.
